B-INTACT

Overview
The Biodiversity Integrated Assessment and Computation Tool (B-INTACT) is a digital platform designed to assess the biodiversity impact of activities within the Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sectors. It enables users to evaluate how land-based interventions affect ecosystems through data-driven insights and analysis, supporting more sustainable and informed decision-making.

My Role
I drove the redesign of the platform’s interface and navigation, improving usability and clarity across the entire user journey. I streamlined complex workflows, from activity creation to geographic area editing, and designed tools for raster-based drawing and spatial interaction. I focused on simplifying geospatial processes, making them more intuitive and accessible to users with varying levels of technical expertise. I also redesigned the final stages of the experience, enabling users to clearly review and understand the impact of their activities. My work improved content clarity and interaction flow, delivering a more seamless and coherent end-to-end experience.
