GIFT
GIFT is a platform developed by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), a specialized agency of the United Nations leading global efforts to end hunger. The platform provides open access to quantitative individual food consumption data collected from countries around the world. I was asked to enhance the overall user experience and design new sections to improve accessibility, clarity, and engagement across the platform. The project required a deep understanding of FAO’s data ecosystem and its audience of international researchers and policymakers, with a particular focus on designing clear and meaningful data visualizations and infographics to make complex information more accessible and engaging.
