Overview
GIFT is a platform developed by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), providing open access to quantitative data on individual food consumption collected from countries worldwide. The platform supports researchers and policymakers in analyzing dietary patterns and informing evidence-based decisions to address global nutrition challenges.
My Role
I drove the redesign of the platform’s user experience and designed new sections to improve accessibility, clarity, and engagement. I converted complex data into clear and meaningful visualizations and infographics, making information more accessible to an international audience of researchers and policymakers. My work improved content comprehension and overall usability, supporting more effective analysis and decision-making.
